Still learning
Yesterday I had a nice young man help me for an hour and I thought I had my notes down real good. Today I had to call for help at the desk and she pointed out my error. Now I think I can get started without any problem.This a.m. I wrote some good blog items to send out later' If you have read my blogs of the first 2 weeks you know that I am a retired pilot and am using this as a means to contact some of my old buddies who flew for the AIR TRANSPORT COMMAND IN CALCUTTA, INDIA. IT WAS AT THIS TIME I FILMED A 30 MINUTE FILM OF FLYING THE HUMP AND A DAY OFF IN CALCUTTA.I am trying to locate a pilot who bought one of them. Just to visit with him and see if he has converted it to VCR tape' This film would be 60 years old.It would be fun if I could find the grandson of a pilot and get his impression when his grandpa showed him the film. He was probably 5 years old at that time.Also, if you missed my blog I will be 94 years old ( feel like 54 ) in Oct. I am looking for a C-54 and a pilot who will let me fly it around the pattern. I will tell him to take the control only if I get dangerous. I have 100,000 hours of flying time, have flown this plane around the world I don't think I would have any trouble. WOULDN'T THAT BE A GOOD BIRTHDAY PRESENT ?
