Using Freedom of Information Requests, he has come up with formally secret CIA documents concerning the USS Pueblo (which is still in North Korea), its mission, and efforts to free the crew. This was a humiliating episode for America and maybe emboldened them to be the North Korea we have to contend with today.
This is a well footnoted, inexpensive, short, great read.
